So now that you know why we want backlinks and basically how to get backlinks, I will show you specifically how to get more backlinks using blogs to get inbound links is very easy to do, takes little effort and the backlinks last forever. You can get many quality inbound links or backlinks whenever the search robot crawls this site, website, or blog. We are going to create blog free then after we create public blog we will use this blog as an advertising blog. Unlike you rmain blog or website instead of advertising other websites and products, we are going to create a google blog and advertise your main website or blog with it.
Quality backlinks are sites links in content, it's the quality backlinks links from sites pages that build pagerank. If I place a link in the middle of no where on a website or blog link it to your site, yes this is a backlink, but not a quality backlinks. Quality backlinks come from sites that link to you in their content. So if I wrote an article relevant to your website, then made a keyword phrase clickable inside of this article linking to your website, this will be a more quality backlink. So keep this in mind when you are getting backlinks from blogs or anywhere. So just writing an article and then at the bottom saying "for more information check out my website" this doesn't create a quality backlink, although on some websites this is the method we have to use. With blogs we create the content, we write the content, we don't have many restrictions on how to create backlinks.
Now to get more backlinks using blogs for inbound links we need to create a free blog and create a site. There are 2 major free weblog blog hosting websites, these free blog websites are blogger.com, which is google's free blog space and wordpress.com, which if you are using a blog for you main website, this is the same blogging software, I see a lot of my students get confused between their hosted blog on their domain name and wordpress.com, remember they are 2 totally different websites, just using the same software. I recommend creating a free blog on both of these free blog sites.
The signup procedure is pretty easy to follow, when creating your free blog accounts on both of these free blog sites, but remember to keep the URL addresses relevant to your main website as well as the titles for these blogs. Now after you have created an account on these 2 free blog sites, what do we put on them? How to get backlinks from blogs? Our next step is to add content on these blogs just as if it were your main website.
Write articles on these blogs that are keyword optimized so they create a quality backlink. You can use almost the same articles that you have on your main website, but word them differently, search engines don't like to see duplicate information in content. Also note that if you are using the same articles off of your main website, to not use all of them! Just use a couple of them, remember we need to place them on other free blogs as well to create backlinks, not just 1. Now to create the backlink, we just look through these articles and find keyword phrases that you want your main website to be known for, and we make them a hyperlink going to your website! Easy eh? Well there are a few things to consider as well, do not link these phrases to your domain name every single time, link them to the specific page or post on your main website that best fits. For example if I were to link back to my website ( 247-coach.com ) for the keyword phrase "use blogs for inbound links" or "how do I create a blog" I wouldn't link them to http://247-coach.com I would link them to this page, http://247-coach.com/create-free-blog-for-advertising.php but of course I would make that phrase clickable going to this page like this, how do I create a blog and I would have it on a free blog with a bunch of content about creating a free blog. Now if it was a general keyword phrase that doesn't match a specific page like "how to start an online business" I would link that phrase to my main page of my website like this: how to start an online business.
When using blogs for inbound links to your website, known as a backlink, also remember that you don't need to stress over making these blogs perfect, nothing is perfect. All we are using these blogs for is to get more backlinks, that is it. The search engine don't care what they look like, all they do is scan the words, images, hyperlinks, etc of this free blog to see what it is about and what other websites it links to. If it sees that this free blog we created is linked to your main website, it adds that in it's database that another website is linked to yours with this keyword phrase clickable so it will push you higher up in the search results for that phrase. Also note that these are not gold! This will not make or break your business, do not spend hours upon hours on this as it's not the greatest advertising methods in the world, but every little bit helps. There are many other methods to getting backlinks, every website on the internet is a potential place to get more backlinks! Although we are going to pick and choose so we can have quality backlinks. We don't want a backlink from a website that is about how to destroy the environment if we have a website on saving the environment! Although a lot of the keyword phrases on the sites will be the same, so actually may work out for you. Okay better example would be if you have a computer website you don't want to work hard obtaining backlinks from a carpet installation website as there will probably be no keyword phrases the same.
