Adding ads to your blogger blog sidebar isn't too hard. All you will be doing to add ads to your blogger sidebar is just copying and pasting HTML code or JavaScript code to your blogger sidebar. There are 2 ways to do this, usually just using the blogger page element for adding HTML usually works fine. I have seen some JavaScript and HTML code that didn't work properly using the blogger page element for adding HTML code. When this happens you can always edit the HTML in the blogger template yourself. This isn't too hard either, just have to figure out where to place the code at. Sometimes it is hard to know where one ad ends and where another starts if you don't know HTML code or JavaScript. Even using this method it is just copying and pasting HTML code as well.
Placing ads on a blogger blog is useful if you want to have an ad showing on every page easily without having to place this ad's HTML code on every single post. Also remember your viewers eyes will also be looking at your sidebar for navigation and more information. You can place ads close to your navigation to make them look similar to your menu or just close to it so it gets more attention.
Blogger Tip: If you are going to use Google adsense on your blogger blog do not use the Google AdSense page element! Just login to Google AdSense create an ad and copy and paste the JavaScript ad code to the "HTML/JavaScript" page element. This method will make more money, Google blogger will take a percentage of your earnings for hosting your ads if you use their AdSense page element. So just add them yourself, do not use the page element to add your Google AdSense ads
If that method of adding your HTML or JavaScript code didn't work, then you will need to edit the HTML code of the template layout yourself. To do this you can follow these steps to add HTML/JavaScript ads to your Google Blogger blog by editing the template's html code.
<b:widget id='Blog1' locked='true' title='Blog Posts' type='Blog'/></b:section> is not valid HTML. This is kind of equal to a php include command <?php include('Blog-Posts.php'); ?>, but there own little version of their own code.<div id='sidebar-wrapper'>, so place your code after that code and before the next </div>.For more Google Blogger Tips check out Google Blogger Help Tips.
