Setup Affiliate Programs

Using your free affiliate tools provided to you by affiliate companies

This section is dedicated to helping you setup your affiliate programs. Most of these affiliate programs have the same options. You will also create the affiliate link code the same way. There are a few affiliate programs which are slightly different, but for the most part affiliate links are created the same. Some of the programs have specific settings and offer many other affiliate tools for you to use. The next section I will walk you through how to setup each affiliate program and also walk you through the sign up procedure.

Google AdSence has a few extra options but are the same basic concept, create an ad, generate your ad or link code, and place the link code on your website. Some of these codes are HTML, XHTML, PHP, and some are JavaScript. Google AdSense happens to use JavaScript code to create their ads. Read my next section on how to setup Adsense.

Amazon associates affiliate program also has quite a range of tools you can use to create your affiliate links or banners. They have many tools under their build links and widgets section that I will be walking you through how to use the Amazon widgets.

The rest of the affiliate programs have just about the same tools, same layout, and same code generators for their affiliate links. I will also walk you through each process from creating an affiliate account to placing affiliate links on your affiliate website or affiliate blog.

Follow the account setup procedure listed next. Note, you will need to have a website webhost purchased before you continue with this signup procedures. Each of these affiliate companies will ask you for your website address, site url, link url, site url, domain name, etc. They are all still asking for the same thing, your website's domain name that you purchased with your website, or from GoDaddy, your something.com name. Also if you were wanting to use an EIN instead of your SSN you will also need to go and get your free EIN as these affiliate companies will also ask for this.
