Article submission sites are another great way to get backlinks to your website! The more backlinks you get, the higher you get in the search engine results pages! You will also increase your website's traffic!
For those of you that think submitting and SEO article free is going to be difficult to do, it's not. Submitting articles to article submission sites is actually easy to do! Submitting articles is almost like writing articles on your own website! You can even take some of the articles from your own website and submit to free article submoission sites or you can just write new articles to submit. Either method you use to submit your articles will work, but creating new articles would probably work better.
The articles I submit to article submission sites are new articles. I try to make them like the articles on my website, but I just give them the general information, none of the details. This way you can link this article you are submitting back to your website, creating a backlink, which will drive traffic that reads these articles back to your website so they can read the details since the article we submitted was just the general information.
So for an example if you have a computer website, and on this computer website you had an article teaching people how to tweak their PC to be faster. Now you need to submit to an article submission site, so we write a new article telling them that their computer is slow, needs tweaked, tweaking your PC is possible, importance of tweaking, benefits of tweaking your PC, etc., but, you do not tell them how to tweak their PC! You just link back to your website at the bottom of this article you are submitting. You place a link that is something like "for more information on how to tweak your PC, check out my computer site .com"
After you have written your new article for submitting to online article submission services, next you need to know how to submit an article! Submitting your article is pretty easy to do, first you need to go to a free article submission website, then fill in the information thy ask for:
- title of article
- description of article
- tags or keywords for your article
- the article itself
- choose a category for your article
- submit your article for review
So you can see what you need to fill out is simple stuff that you've done many times on your own website. Just be sure to include a link back to your website from this article you are submitting. If you forget this part, submitting this article is going to do nothing for your website. Also each article submission site has their own restrictions of how many links can be inside of your articles. Almost all article submission sites want your articles to be helpful information, not sales pitches, not product reviews, etc., they want helpful information. Also even though some of the ezine article submission sites will allow you to have maybe 4 links in the articles you submit to their website, you will only want to use a maximum of 2 links! Maybe have a link at the top of your article or somewhere in the middle, then one at the bottom. The one at the top or in th middle, just make a keyword phrase clickable to go back to your website, for the one at the bottom, you can either make it a keyword phrase or your web address or domain name.
What is an Article Submission Site
An article submission site is a article submission directory, a place that people can submit articles to for others to use. Yes, I did say for others to use. When you submit your articles to an article submission site, people can go to this article submission directory and copy and paste your article onto their website. Some of you may wonder why we would want other people to copy and paste our articles onto their websites. Well simple, we submit this article to the article submission directory, which gets your website a backlink. Some other website owner is building a website based on the same topic as yours, he/she can go to this article submission directory copy and paste your article to his/her website since they can't writ etheir own content, and now you have another backlink to your website. That's right, when this other webmaster copies your article onto their own website, they have to leave the article exacly as it is, including the links you placed in that article. So now their website is linked to yours, creating another backlink. So now your article you submitted with your links to your website can be copied by many people and create links to your site!
So now that you know what an article submission directory is, how to submit an article, now you need to know where are all of these free article submission sites?
